ABOUT TAC MUSEUM
The African Cannabis Museum (TAC) is a cultural and educational institution in development in Cape Town, scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
It is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of African plant heritage, with the focus on the Cannabis plant, through curated storytelling, research and immersive visitor experiences.
The museum is positioned as a heritage and tourism destination, distinct from any retail or commercial cannabis operations. The project is positioned as a cultural institution rather than a retail or commercial venture.
As part of our development, we are inviting creatives to help define the visual identity of TAC Museum, a space for the public and the communities connected to cannabis, from culture and heritage to medicine, agriculture and hemp.
